The eyes are the window to your soul.
William Shakespeare
When eyes are sad, they cry. When happy, they smile. When excited they are wide open and when tired, they close.
You see the world and all you love through them. Your perception is forged by them. They show you all of the charity and horror of this world. Through them you see all of the best things this life has to offer you.
They never change, they are the same the day you are born as the day you die, never bigger, never smaller, always the same eyes.
To look into someone's eyes is a gift. To see their soul or true nature. To fall In love or to feel a connection from only a stare. To know a certain gaze and what a person is thinking through return of sight. I wish that on all of you. Everyone deserves that feeling at some point.
Musicians sing about their beauty, poets write about their virtue, the blind can see based on the words of others, the beauty of this world through someone else's eyes.
We discuss hindsight, and we all work toward insight. When we understand, we say "I see," and when we are angry we "can't even look at" the target of our frustration.
Sight is spiritual. An eye opening event changes your mind. Turning your back suggests not seeing.
Believing in something, anything at all, gives you hope. Hope is a form of sight, to see into the future and work toward a goal.
Small worlds are the eyes. A universe in a ball. All the dreams, fears, love and longing in another, and in yourself, Seen not heard, seen not touched, but always felt.
Mine are finally open. I intend to keep them that way for as long as I can. This life is mine to embrace. I see the light, I want more of It, and I wish to be seen for all that I am.
